Here's the issue, if you're on your way to work, forget it. You stand there waiting for one person to take care of you while two others talk to each other and pretend not to see you. Love the pastries, can't wait for the chatter to end to be taken care of. The comments that it's pricey is correct but they are fancy pastries/breads. That being said, don't think they are properly located. Btw, the oven is a bit hot, the food is on the dark side. Try it out though for yourself. Update: Been in few times since my last review and I have to give it kudos for how much better the staff is. The choices in the bread, pastries and desserts have expanded tremendously. Everything not only looks delicious, it tastes delicious. Try the fresh made yams and the artisan breads, together- Wow.read less

There really hasn't been anything that I've tried that isn't delicious and executed perfectly. The macarons are what brought me here, and they are little bites of heaven. The macaron ice cream sandwich was one of the most amazing summer treats ever- their brown butter ice cream is just phenomenal (and comes in pints)! The goat cheese baguelette sandwich is a great lunch, whether sitting there or taking it to-go. Now, for their pastries.... I have made it my mission to try them all!! But so far: - twisted cheese stick, delicious without being overly salty - Classic Le'clair is silky, light, with rich layers of flavor (plus they offer other amazing flavors) - chocolate chip walnut cookie is scrumptious - banana muffin is a little on the drier side but has a delicious crumble on top - crossaints are like flaky, buttery clouds Definitely go try any of their items.. They've set up an amazing online process for seamless deliveries and pick-up orders. I went to their website, chose my time-slot for pick-up, and received a confirmation number. When I went to pick-up my order today, I was in and out of the shop in less than a minute. For Sunday breakfast, I got the pecan sticky bun, cheesecake danish, multigrain bread, and chocolate hazelnut crufganyot. They even threw in a free baguette with our order which we turned into a veggie sandwich and turkey sandwich. So delicious! If it's your first time at Patis, I'd definitely recommend their croissant, almond croissant, and pecan sticky bun. Can't go wrong with anything here!read less

Their coffee is fantastic, their specialty items are the bomb, their breads are incredible (and I make sourdoughs, challahs and the like) and their pastries - well, forget it. Fabulous. We love going there each and every time, we are happily stuffed when we leave. Each one of us like different flavors and there is always a plethora of choice. I went in around 7pm and was happy to see there were still plenty of items to choose from. After looking around for a bit, I decided on the macaroons - they have a nice variety of flavors! I ended up going with chocolate, rasberry, and orange blossom - I enjoyed them all (especially the chocolate). Checkout was smooth and the cashier was super friendly. Wow everything we ordered was outstanding. The bread was delicious. I wrote a note for my flavor macarons and they ordered those correctly I ordered some chocolates, and asked for no coffee or mocha. There was a handwritten note on the chocolates, sorry they are pre packaged at the beginning of the week. I thought that was a nice gesture. Everything was packaged perfectly and came intact.read less
